Adventure Tales in Sydney October 2018 was a free talk to raise funds for a charity that works to take mentally and physically disabled children out into the wild to experience the same kind of adventures as everyone else.

Tales from the Trails was a collection of explorers & adventurers brought together from all over the world through local events company, Fusion Events. For this speech I was joined by Oska, a New Zealand marathon specialist and we shared our running experiences with the audience and then participated in a panel Q&A session.

Sydney Striders was established back in 1980 and is now one of Sydney's most prominent running clubs. It started with a focus on road running and marathons in particular. It now has a thriving membership encouraging all abilities and ages to get involved in a wide range of running events.
I was lucky enough to be invited to share my running stories and ultra-adventures with their community as they celebrated some of the members' considerable achievements over the last 12 months.
